At around 3.8Km this is considered a medium to big park, it's part of the Reseau des Grands parcs de Montreal. Prefect for a good 5K or even a 10K run

A mix of gravel and asphalt well maintained. Very minimal potholes on the asphalt.

With a great view of the St-Laurent river, the trees, flowers, statues and plenty of grass this parc is beautifully maintained and located. Make sure you are aware of the spring and evening bugs since this is a riverfront park (close your mouth).
Running amenitieswww.dyerware.comwww.dyerware.comwww.dyerware.comwww.dyerware.comwww.dyerware.com
At the main park-house there is natural water, cool water, bathrooms and even a snack shack with healthy choices. It also has plenty of free parking on the north site of the park and a few bus stops.

Great nature park that provides a place for many sports, especially running. I definately recommend it

As a bonus I’m also rating the playgrounds in or very close to the park i`m running in, since i’m a new papa and i know how important playgrounds are to new parents and especially their kids, so here goes:

Kids playground review
Size of playgroundwww.dyerware.comwww.dyerware.comwww.dyerware.comwww.dyerware.comwww.dyerware.com
A very small and old playground is to be found right outside the park, meant to entertain around 3 families with 2-7 year olds.
Quality of playgroundwww.dyerware.comwww.dyerware.comwww.dyerware.comwww.dyerware.comwww.dyerware.com
It has one slide, a bit of sand and 4 swings. Also no shade from trees and only one bench. This isn't meant to impress.

Verry small park with few playground games, leave the kid with granma, or take him in a charriot for a run!
